Emily's 'Team Bride' Hen Party !
It’s the beginning of wedding season…but first ladies, it’s time to party! If you've been awarded the honour of Chief Friend, Maid of Honour, Bridesmaid or whatever they’re calling it these days, this one is for you. Do you have the responsibility of throwing the ultimate Hen Party, that is the perfect balance of just enough tack, but with oodles of taste?
Don’t fear, it doesn’t have to be all magenta toned accessories, feather boas and blow-up willies…although that does sound like a night to remember. This relaxed take on girls-gone-wild ticks all the boxes for a trendy, tasteful, tipsy Bride-to-Be.
We had the honour of planning Emily’s Hen Party…and here’s how we did it!
Hen Parties are a great way to introduce both sides of family and friends before the big day. Goody Bags are a great way to kick start the party and welcome everyone into the Hen Party mood...after all, everyone loves a prezzie.
Contents include: Pink Paper Party Bag; Personalised Sticker; Willy Straw; Team Bride Badge; Personalised Mirror; Words of Wisdom Cards.
These party bags and personalised stickers were perfect to go along with Emily’s dusky pink, vintage floral themed wedding (we know this because we have helped out there as well ?). They add an elegant touch to the party bags and makes them…well…personal! We added the personalised mirror in the same design for that final touch of glam!
We filled the Hen Party Goody bags with a mixture of practical and playful items to kick off the party vibes. Our new range of Team Bride decorations and accessories are a great addition to any Hen Party and these rosette badges are a sophisticated way to show you’re a part of ‘Team Bride’ for the night. The Words of Wisdom Game is a nice keepsake for the Bride and for the Hens to share some advice before that knot has been double bowed. It also gets everyone in the mood for the party games that will follow. And finally the willy straws…. because there has to be at least one willy at every Hen Party.

To decorate the room we chose this gold ‘From Miss to Mrs’ string decoration with pink and teal tissue pom poms and confetti filled balloons. This pink and white polka dot table cover was great ground and added a bit of fun. Our plastic champagne flutes are a necessity for any Hen Party. As the bubbles flow, normally so do the people, so these ensure there are no breakages to hinder the shenanigans. This giant champagne flute is an ideal ‘sophisticated’ take on the punch bowl….willy straws at the ready!
Our other plastic containers can be filled with sweets and chocolate (love hearts) and/or other snacks of choice and they added to the vintage/retro feel. To finish off we added these ‘Team Bride’ napkins which were a real crowd pleaser.
Other ideas that would work great with this look is our ‘Love’ balloon alongside our other ‘Team Bride’ Decorations.

Emily’s Hen Party was a Surprise Spa Retreat weekend, the perfect combo of pampering, prosecco and partying. We decorated her room ready for some pre-partying, prosecco and those all important games.
